Changes are coming to FHA loans, there is currently a house bill to make the minium down payment to obtain an FHA loan to 5%.  This bill is supported by Shaun Donovan, the secretary of Housing and Urban Development.  If your looking to purchase a home and you are trying to do so with little money down you need to hurry.  When this change takes affect there will be no more 3.5% down or .50% down FHA options.
